Rule 9
Sample of feed material

(1) When taking a sample of grain material, the grain examiner should take about five hundred grams of grain material in two parts at the place where the sample is taken, put it in separate bags and put a seal on each bag and do as follows:-
(a) to send a POCA analysis to a public analyst for examination,
(b) sending a letter to the local authority.
(2) The cages as per sub-rule (1) must be made in such a way that the grains kept inside cannot escape, leak and any foreign objects or substances cannot be kept inside and must be clean.
(3) According to this rule, only three samples of the total quantity of grains to be taken for sampling will be allowed to be sampled by grain testers.
(4) The bag in which the grain is kept and the outer cover where it is turned must bear the stamp of the person who kept the grain.
(5) According to sub-rule (4), if the person keeping the grain material does not stamp the bag containing the grain material and also on the outer cover that has been turned, the grain inspector shall inform the public analyst and the local authority when sending the sample to the public analyst for analysis.
